On Tuesday March 18 2008 at the Community Campus in Hailey, the Wood
River Legacy Project held a meeting concerning new laws aimed at
assisting water flows in the Big Wood River and Silver Creek through a
system of water banking. The following information in PDF files
outlines the information that was discussed at that meeting. In short,
water right holders are now able to donate water rights back to the
river system without loosing their rights.
